Map pin QR codes
In the maps flow, place the pin on the real entrance guests should use — not a city centroid. Wrong pins waste more time than a missing QR.
Confirm the link opens in Apple Maps / Google Maps on both major phone platforms.
Pair with human text
On posters, add the venue name in plain type next to the code. If the scan fails, guests still know where to go.
Events and pop-ups
Temporary venues benefit from map codes at ticket desks and on confirmation emails. Update editable codes if the entrance changes on the day.
