Print a QR without surprises: size, SVG and distance

A pretty layout fails if the matrix is tiny or crowded. Walk this checklist before you print.

Size and distance

Rough rule: code side ≈ 1/10 of the expected scan distance. Counter displays need larger codes than hand-held cards.

PNG or SVG

PNG suits chat and social. SVG stays sharp on banners and print runs. Both exports are available on generate-qr-code.net.

Quiet zone

Keep a clean margin around the matrix — no text or ornaments touching the edge, or finder patterns get lost.
