Menu QR on the table
Paper menus lag behind kitchen changes. A QR on the table can open a live page you update when a dish sells out or a price changes — without tossing printed booklets.
Guests expect a fast mobile page, readable type and photos that are optional rather than mandatory for ordering.
Design the table tent
One clear square, a short line like “Scan for today’s menu”, and enough quiet space. Avoid covering the code with grease-prone glossy laminate if it will sit beside drinks.
Place tents where elbows and candles will not constantly shadow the matrix.
Keep the destination editable
Menus move. Prefer a setup where you can change the URL or page after print. Save your stats link the day you generate the code.
If you run seasonal menus, plan updates in the CMS the same morning kitchen changes the board.
