Contacts on the phone: a QR card without paper cards

One scan drops a name, number, and email into the phone. Paper cards get lost; a static QR on a badge or flyer is faster.

What to put in the code

Minimum: name and phone. Then email, site, company. Don’t pack dozens of fields — a dense matrix scans worse on a small badge.

MeCard and vCard

Both formats carry a contact. On generate-qr-code.net pick the type you prefer, fill the fields, and save PNG/SVG. It’s a static snapshot: if the number changes, make a new code.

Where it shines

Event badges, PDF proposals, service stickers, fair booths. If the contact “floats” (rotating managers), a dynamic code on QRcode Global is easier.
